ABOUT US

The Warrior Club is the athletic booster club for Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, (Lamar County) and is a 501(c)(3) organization. Oak Grove High School provides many athletic opportunities for students. However, as with most county schools, funds are limited and help is needed to provide student athletes all they need to make their experiences rewarding and enjoyable. That is where we come in.

The Warrior Club raises funds, coordinates volunteers, and creates awareness for Oak Grove High School athletics. We have worked on large tasks such as raising funds for rebuilding the football stadium after the tornado of 2013 as well as smaller jobs such as manning the concession stands at events. Rarely is a request made that we aren’t able to fulfill for any sport.  

While most of our efforts are visible, we also spend a great deal of time behind the scenes building relationships with members of our community and offering opportunities to sponsor our student athletes through Warrior Athletics.  Most importantly, we invest in student athletes by providing player development opportunities.  Our primary focus is on developing the person-not just the athlete.  Our ultimate goal is to support our coaches, teachers, and parents in shaping our students into healthy, confident, responsible individuals in high school and beyond.
